Sunday we spent the day with Corey's family on Beaver Lake - it was a blast! The weather was perfect, and the water wasn't too cold. Wesley of course loved the boat and being in the water - my kids really don't have a chance not to be 'water babies' with two sets of grandparents that have lake houses now and a pool at home! Wesley was so worn out when we left that evening (no nap) that he passed out in the car with blackberries all over his face :)
Monday we just spent the day working around the house, then when Wesley got up from his nap we played in the pool for the rest of the afternoon. Corey and I watched this creepy but very interesting show on the Animal Planet called "Mermaids: The Body Found" while Wesley was napping. I don't usually get into science fiction type shows, but it was interesting - worth watching if you haven't seen it.
We were certainly thankful for the nice long weekend, but owe the day to our Service men and women that have done and continue to do so much for our country!
Love the lake! Wesley looks like the cool kid in his sunglasses on the boat :o). That pic of him sleeping reminds me of Jones from this weekend - we went to the pool (which he loves - he's a water baby too, I guess :o)), and he didn't have a nap so he fell asleep as I was buckling him into the car seat. So he was asleep before I even started the car - ha!
