32 Weeks - Baby #2

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 32 weeks
Size of baby: Length is about 16.7 inches and she weighs about 3.75 lbs (around the size of a jicama)
Gender: Girl!  Natalie Raines
Maternity Clothes: All maternity clothes
Weight gain: 30lbs - confirmed at my last appointment.  I fully expect to gain another 10 or so between now and her due date :)  I'll worry about loosing it later!
Movement: Noticing more stretching and rolling type movements rather than kicking - I think she's starting to get squished in there!  And she hiccups ALL THE TIME!!
Sleep: Sleeping fairly well.  I'm back to getting up during the night to go pee, and I'm trying to sleep on my side more.
Symptoms: Feeling more tired and sluggish.  I get uncomfortable when I sit for a long period of time, and my feet are starting to swell a little bit.
Cravings: Water!  I've been so thirsty lately
What I miss: Being able to carry Wesley :(  He always asks to 'hold you', especially when we are out running around, and I just can't - it is hard enough these days to lift him in and out of his car seat!
Best moment this week: Hearing Natalie's heartbeat at my last appointment (140 beats per minute) and planning baby shower 'sprinkles' - so thankful to have friends and family that want to celebrate this wonderful baby girl with us!!

Wesley's first Razorback Baseball game

On Easter Sunday after Church we decided to go to the Razorback Baseball game - Arkansas played Georgia and we won!  The weather was awesome, and it wasn't super crowded - we really had a great time and Wesley loved it!  He's been asking to go to another baseball game ever since :)

Easter Weekend

We stayed in town over Easter weekend and got to celebrate Easter with Corey's side of the family on Saturday by having a big Easter lunch and Easter egg hunt! Wesley had so much fun - we were a little concerned with how he'd catch on to 'hunting the eggs', but he did great!  And he got a ton of candy and goodies.  Thanks Mimi and D-daddy :)

On Easter Sunday we were anxious to find out what the Easter bunny brought Wesley, so we of course let him open all his stuff before breakfast :)  I doubt he was the only kid in the Church nursery that was on a sugar high that morning!

We had grand plans to get up early and go to the 8:30am service, but the alarm didn't go off (so cliche) so we decided to attended the 9:40am service before heading to the Razorback Baseball game at 12:05pm.  We got a couple pics of the family after Church:

Corey's dad was also up for the weekend to celebrate the holiday with us - love this picture of 3 generations of Runnells boys!

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

31 Weeks - Baby #2

**I apologize for being 2 weeks behind on pregnancy posts!  I have just been terrible at remembering to actually take a picture and post it to the blog.  Lots of things going on these days!!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 31 weeks
Size of baby: Length is about 16.2 inches and she weighs about 3.3 lbs (around the size of a pineapple)
Gender: Girl!  Natalie Raines
Maternity Clothes: All maternity clothes
Weight gain: 25lbs - confirmed at my last appointment.  I'd guess I'm closer to 28lbs now.
Movement: Still a wiggle worm.  The doctor said she'll flip and flop until about 35 weeks when she'll finally settle in to her 'prep' position.
Sleep: Sleeping great!  Wesley is sleeping through the night (thank goodness!), and we switched back to our old mattress that is softer and doesn't make my back hurt.
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good - I am still having headaches daily (boo), but I don't know if they are sinus related or just pregnancy related.  I'm also getting the brown line (linea nigra) down my tummy like I did with Wesley.  Looks like I'll be in a tankini this summer :)
Cravings: Cupcakes and sweets
What I miss: Moving normally - I'm so slow at doing everything these days, even walking!
Best moment this week: Hearing Natalie's heartbeat at our last appointment (145 beats per minute) and picking out her crib bedding fabric, as well as making decisions about Wesley's new 'big boy' room.  Really just getting everything together in general.  We all can't wait until she is here!  Only 9 weeks to go.
